Every child learns differently and sometimes they just need a little extra help to make things click. Our literacy and numeracy sessions are designed to close gaps, reduce stress, and rebuild confidence step by step.

Numeracy Skill Building

Maths doesn’t have to feel confusing or scary. We break concepts down in a way that makes sense to your child, using hands-on materials and real-world examples to build lasting understanding.

  • We identify and strengthen the core skills your child may have missed, helping them build a solid foundation so maths starts to make sense again.

  • More than just reciting numbers — we help children understand what numbers mean, building confidence with sequencing, patterns, and early number sense.

  • Understanding how numbers work is key. We use hands-on activities to help children see the value of each digit, laying the groundwork for all future maths learning.

  • We teach strategies that make adding and subtracting clear and logical — moving from concrete materials to mental methods at your child’s pace.

  • From skip counting to times tables, we build deep understanding — not just memorisation — so children can confidently apply these skills in real situations.

  • We teach children how to read, unpack and solve maths problems step by step, helping them understand what the question is asking and how to find the best strategy.

Numeracy Services

Literacy Skill Building

We help children make sense of reading and writing using proven, practical strategies that actually work. Each lesson builds understanding, confidence, and a stronger connection to words. We focus on:

  • A structured phonics program that helps children hear, read and spell words more confidently. We focus on building strong sound–letter connections so reading and writing start to feel easier.

  • We make grammar simple and engaging by helping students understand how words work together — nouns, verbs, adjectives and more — so their writing makes sense and flows naturally.

  • From similes to metaphors, we help children recognise and use creative language in their reading and writing. It’s about building understanding and adding colour to their words.

  • Students learn how to find, organise and summarise information with confidence. We guide them in note-taking, paraphrasing and referencing — skills that support learning across all subjects.

  • We teach children how to plan and structure their ideas clearly using simple frameworks like TEEL. This helps them express their thoughts in a logical, well-organised way.
